Agricliometrics V

Agricliometrics V is an international conference that brings together the presentation of research papers that, from a quantitative approach (cliometrics), address issues in the field of rural, agricultural, environmental and natural resources history.

The Instituto de Economía (IECON) of the Universidad de la República, Uruguay, (Udelar) will be the organizer and venue of the next conference, to be held in Montevideo on December 7-8, 2023.


Scholars from the University of Zaragoza, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, New York University Abu Dhabi, University Carlos III of Madrid and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences will participate. The conference has the support of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics (FCEA), Udelar and the Programa de Historia Economía y Social (PHES) Faculty of Social Sciences (FCS), Udelar. This conference aims to offer the opportunity to present research results and advances to both senior and junior researchers as well as doctoral students.
